Calcium carbonate (precipitated chalk) is used to raise mash pH and increase calcium levels, ideal for gluten-free darker beers and water chemistry adjustments.

Dosage: 1/2 tsp per gallon lowers acidity (increases pH) by approximately 0.1%. Maximum recommended dose 3 ½ tsp per gallon.
