Developed in collaboration with Eckert Malting & Brewing Co. of Chico, California, this gluten-free American amber ale recipe delivers a full-bodied beer with medium amber color, biscuit and malt character, and lightly sweet caramel notes. Showcasing Chinook and Mt. Hood hops, this well-balanced gluten-free homebrew offers subtle hop aroma and flavor and is an easy-drinking beer suitable for any season and a wide range of foods.

  • 4.00 lb Pale Millet Malt
  • 4.00 lb Amber Rice Malt
  • 1.00 lb James' Brown Rice Malt

Hops

  • 0.50 oz Chinook Hops (60 min)
  • 0.25 oz Mt. Hood Hops (30 min)
  • 0.25 oz Mt. Hood Hops (15 min)
  • 0.50 oz Mt. Hood Hops (0 min)

Dry Hop

  • 0.50 oz Chinook Hops

    • 1 Whirlfloc Tablet (15 min)

    Yeast

    • 1 package Mangrove Jack's M15 Empire Ale Yeast
