Description:
Pale ale made with roasted oats and honey, then dry hopped.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups GF Whole Oats (roast at 350 for 25-30 min, then steep at 155 for 30 min)
- 6 lbs Light Sorghum Syrup (60 min)
- 1 cup Maltodextrin (60 min)
- 1 oz Cascade Hops (60 min)
- 1.5 lbs Honey (45 min)
- 0.75 lbs Honey (15 min)
- 1 oz Cascade Hops (2 min)
- 1 pkg Fermentis Safale US-05 dry yeast
- Dry Hopping:
- 0.5 oz Amarillo Hops

Procedure:
Steep roasted oats for thirty min prior to boil.
Bring wort to boil, and primary fermentable sugars, return to boil and achieve hot break.
Add hops and remaining fermentable sugars according to schedule.
Chill wort until appropriate temperature to pitch yeast.
Dry hop after racking to secondary.
