This approachable ale shows how classic mild flavors can be recreated entirely gluten-free.

- 5 oz Dark Belgian Candi Sugar
- 4 oz Molasses
- 3 oz Avage Syrup
- 12 oz Honey

- 0.50 Hallertau Hops

Procedure:
Bring to boil. Remove from heat and add all fermentables except honey (this prevents scorching the syrup), return to boil allow to achieve hot break. Add hops and other ingredients according to schedule.

0.50 Hallertau Hops (1 min)
0.25 Perle Hops (1 min)
0.50 Kent Golding (1 min)
12 oz Honey (flameout; careful not to scorch)

Recipe Note: This recipe was most likely developed between 2010-2014 before buckwheat, millet and rice malt was widely available. Therefore, it utilizes many gluten-free ingredients readily found at a LHBS or grocery store.
