The Grainfather Community Tools was used to replicate the grain bill, while the rest are possible recommendations appropriate for the beer style.

  • Pale Buckwheat Malt 3.30 lb (30%) Mash
  • Vienna Millet Malt 2.75 lb (25%) Mash
  • Munich Millet Malt 2.75 lb (25%) Mash
  • Red-Wing Amber Millet Malt 1.10 lb (10%) Mash
  • Griffin Millet Malt 0.77 lb (7%) Mash
  • Chocolate Roasted Vienna Millet Malt 0.33 lb (3%) Mash
  • Hops:
  • Columbus (CTZ) (IBU: 12.1) 0.25 oz (33%) Boil
  • Cascade (IBU: 6.6) 0.50 oz (67%) Boil
  • Yeast:
  • Propagate Lab (GF) Wheat MIP-150 or Mangrove Jack's M84
  • Other:
  • Whirlfloc or Irish moss
  • Yeast nutrients

Procedure:

PREPARATION:
Clean and sanitize your work area and equipment using a cleaner and sanitizer specifically for brewing.

MASH INSTRUCTIONS:
Perform rising step mash (Click 'Resources' > 'Tutorials' > 'All Grain Brewing Tutorial') for 85 - 135 total minutes using 10-20 ml Ceremix-Flex, and 10-20 ml Ondea Pro enzymes

SPARGE INSTRUCTIONS:
“Fly sparge” by gently sprinkling water from the hot liquid tank while matching flow rates of the mash tun and hot liquor tank.

BOIL INSTRUCTIONS:
Columbus Pellet 0.25 oz 60 min
Cascade Pellet 0.50 oz 20 min
Fermax Yeast Nutrient 2.5 tsp 10 min
Irish Moss 0.5 tsp 10 min
