Description:
Lager made with sorghum and corn syrup, finished with honey. Has a nice crisp, sweet honey taste. Even my non-beer drinking friends have really enjoyed this beer.
Ingredients:
- 3.75 lbs BriesSweet White Sorghum Syrup 45 DE High Maltose (prior to boil)
- 0.5 lbs corn syrup (prior to boil)
- 0.5 oz Hallertau Hops (50 min)
- 0.75 oz Cascade Hops (10 min)
- 0.75 oz Saaz Hops (flameout)
- 1.5 lbs Honey (flameout)
- 2 pkgs Dry lager yeast

Primary Ferment: 2.5 weeks at 55 - 60 degreesBeer Profile

Procedure:
Bring waterto boil, and primary fermentable sugars, return to boil and achieve hot break.
Add hops and honey according to schedule.
Chill wort until appropriate temperature to pitch yeast.
Force carbonate or bottle condition with honey
