The Pumpkin Spice Ale is a malt forward fall spice beer with sweet toasty tones and a delicately seasoned finish. You can buy this all-grain recipe kit seasonally:


  • ● 7 lb Biscuit 4L Rice Malt
  • ● 4 lb Pale Millet Malt
  • ● 2 lb Pale Buckwheat Malt
  • ● 2 lb Munich Millet Malt
  • ● 1 lb Caramel 90L Malt
  • ● 1 oz Northern Brewer Hops
  • ● 1 oz Willamette Hops
  • ● 1 pkg Pumpkin Spice
  • ● 1 Whirlfloc Tablet
  • ● 1 pkg US-05 Yeast

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 7 - 10 days
Secondary Ferment: 7 - 10 days

Clean and sanitize your work area and equipment using a cleaner and sanitizer specifically for brewing.

Perform single infusion or reverse step mash for 90-120 minutes (Click 'Resources' > 'Tutorials' > 'All Grain Brewing Tutorial')
Use 15-25 ml Termamyl or SEBAmyl BAL 100, and 15-25 ml SEBAmyl L enzymes

“Fly sparge” by gently sprinkling water from the hot liquid tank while matching flow rates of the mash tun and hot liquor tank.

1 oz Northern Brewer hops (60 minutes)
1 Whirlfloc tablet (15 minutes)
2.5 tsp Yeast Nutrient (15 minutes) Optional / Recommended
1 oz Willamette hops (10 minutes)
1 pkg Pumpkin Spice (5 minutes)
