Description:

Effervescent, aromatic, and smooth, this gluten-free ale showcases the depth possible in gluten-free brewing. A classic Belgian ale yeast delivers notes of wildflowers, citrus, fruity esters, and subtle spice. This all-grain version of our best-selling gluten-free extract kit is deceptively smooth, complex, and full of flavor—without the gluten.

Ingredients:

  • Pale Rice Malt 12.00 lb (86%) Mash
  • Crystal Rice Malt 2.00 lb (14%) Mash
  • 1 oz Centennial hops (60 minutes)
  • 0.5 oz Tettnanger hops (15 minutes)
  • 0.5 oz Willamette hops (15 minutes)
  • 1 Whirlfloc tablet (10 minutes)
  • Mangrove Jacks M41 Belgian Ale Yeast
  • Yeast nutrients per dosing and time addition recommendations.
  • Dry hopping: 0.5 oz Tettnanger hops (secondary)
  • 0.5 oz Willamette hops (secondary)

Procedure:

Perform rising step mash (Click 'Resources' > 'Tutorials' > 'All Grain Brewing Tutorial') for 85 - 135 total minutes using Ceremix-Flex and Ondea Pro enzymes per dosing instructions.

SPARGE INSTRUCTIONS:
“Fly sparge” by gently sprinkling water from the hot liquid tank while matching flow rates of the mash tun and hot liquor tank.

Follow boil schedule located in ingredient list above.
