Description:
A bold all-grain gluten-free IPA homebrew featuring an all-Loral hop schedule that produces floral, citrus, peppery, and dark-fruit notes. Crafted specifically for gluten-free beer brewing, this recipe uses a base of pale millet, rice, and buckwheat malts with Loral hops and West Coast yeast to create a distinctive 5.6 % ABV gluten-free beer with strong hop complexity — perfect for hop-forward gluten-free brewing.
Ingredients:
- 5 lb Pale millet malt
- 5 lb Biscuit rice malt
- 2 lb Dutch roasted millet malt
- 2 lb Goldfinch millet malt
- 2 lb Pale or Roasted buckwheat malt (roasted recommended)
- 0.5 lb Rice hulls
- 7 oz Loral hops
- 1 Whirlfloc tablet
- 1 pkg Mangrove Jacks M44

Procedure:
● Enzyme Note: Ceremix® Flex and Ondea Pro can replace the listed enzymes; in a rising step mash they increase mash efficiency and may alter target beer parameters ●
MASH INSTRUCTIONS:
Perform single infusion or reverse step mash for 90-120 minutes; enzymes: Termamyl SC DS and SEBAmyl L per dosing instructions.
SPARGE INSTRUCTIONS:
“Fly sparge” by gently sprinkling water from the hot liquor tank while matching flow rates of the mash tun and hot liquor tank.
BOIL INSTRUCTIONS:
1 oz Loral hops (60 minutes)
1 oz Loral hops (20 minutes)
1 Whirlfloc tablet (10 minutes)
4 oz Loral hops (flameout)

Yeast nutrients per dosing and time addition recommendations.
Dry hopping: 1 oz Loral hops @ 7 days
