Description:

Adapted from multiple Newcastle Brown Ale clone recipes, this gluten-free clone recipe recreates the classic Newcastle Brown Ale profile using gluten-free grains. Rich malt flavor, subtle sweetness, and smooth finish make this homebrew recipe an excellent example of how traditional English brown ales can be successfully brewed gluten-free.

Ingredients:

  • 7.00 lb Pale Millet Malt
  • 2.38 lb Biscuit Rice Malt
  • 2.38 lb Crystal Rice Malt
  • 0.38 lb Munich Millet Malt
  • 0.25 lb James Brown Rice Malt
  • 0.25 lb Gas Hog Rice Malt

  • 1.00 oz Fuggles Hops (60 min)
  • 1.00 oz Fuggles Hops (30 min)
