Carboy Blow-Off Hood

The Rubber Carboy Blow Hood & Caps are designed to give gluten-free brewers added protection during vigorous fermentation. When active yeast activity produces lots of krausen, a blow hood captures overflow and prevents it from clogging airlocks. The included caps fit 3, 5, and 6.5-gallon smooth-neck carboys, providing multiple options depending on your batch size. This hood helps keep your fermentation area cleaner and protects your gluten-free beer from exposure to contaminants while still allowing gases to escape safely.
