Gas Hog Rice Malt is an intensely roasted gluten-free specialty malt designed to deliver deep color and bold flavor when brewing gluten-free beer at home. It provides strong roast character with dark caramelized notes and a firm malt backbone, contributing richness and visual intensity to the finished beer. Because of its strength, it is best used in controlled amounts for balance. Ideal for gluten-free stouts, porters, and experimental dark beer styles, Gas Hog Rice Malt adds complexity, depth, and striking color to the grain bill. Use it to push flavor intensity while maintaining structure in robust homebrewed gluten-free beer.

Lovibond: Approx. 350-400
Potential Gravity: 1.020-1.022 or 20-22 gravity points per gallon; or with Ondea Pro Liquid Enzyme Complex approximately 1.028-1.030 or 28-30 gravity points per gallon.

Has a wonderful dark brown color with roasted coffee notes in the aroma. Great quality, was great to brew with. I used it in conjunction with a few other grains to make a partial mash Oatmeal Stout, and I am looking forward to the finished product!
