I brewed a batch for my girlfriend who loves stouts and porters but is gluten intolerant. We used the two step mash technique and saw very high conversion rates. No hiccups in the process and the final product was excellent. By far the best GF beer either of us have ever had, and I'm not even a porter fan. Really very good!
I just ordered a second kit of this same brew. Thanks guys for making it easy to brew delicious GF beer! We'd also love it if you put together a stout kit as well!

I was so excited when I received my order for my first attempt at an all grain brew. Although my OG was quite low, 1.04 it turned out with tremendous flavor, colour and head retention. I can't put into words how happy I am with this product and the support of GFHB. I am about to bottle my FF IPA partial mash tomorrow and can't wait for that. I have since ordered the Pale Ale partial and may try adding some honey for a honey Ale. 🍻

Dark and creamy, well balanced. I have served it to non GF people who were surprised to find a gluten free porter that tastes so close to a traditional one.

My wife developed a gluten intolerance. She told me how she misses porters and stouts, so I became a home brewer with the hopes to give her and any others I know an all grain porter. This kit is exactly what I hoped for. The color and aroma right out of the mash tun had me and my wife excited. The instructions are very specific and you can easily message GFHB with any questions and they will quickly reply via facebook. I am currently awaiting the fermentation to finish. My target gravity came in a little low at 1.050, but note this was my first all grain home brew of 5 gallons. I felt I needed a tad more strike water, and a little less sparge water, but this is more likely an efficiency tweak I need to work on with my equipment. Nonetheless, I will continue to order more kits from GFHB, and I strongly recommend this kit.
