Sierra Nevada Resilience IPA To Raise $15 Million For Camp Fire Relief
Bierly Brewing in McMinnville Oregon and Eckert Malting & Brewing Co in Chico California are the only two gluten free breweries to join nearly 1,500 breweries nationwide to raise relief funds for the Camp fire that devastated Butte County California. Sierra Nevada is located in Butte County where the fire took place, and many of their employees lost their homes to the fire.
Back on November 24th, we posted a clone version of the Sierra Nevada Resilience IPA GF Clone recipe on our website. Within a couple hours we got a call from JP Bierly of Bierly Brewing who said he just saw our recipe and wanted to work on a collaboration. Bierly Brewing set to work brewing the recipe we collaborated on, and on December 15th they poured their first pint of gluten free Resilience IPA! Meanwhile in Butte County, Eckert Malting & Brewing Co was working on their own version of the Resilience IPA recipe. And on December 14th, they poured their first pint of gluten free Resilience IPA.

First thing first, what the heck is Naked Dark Biscuit Rice Malt? Secondly, how can I get some? Well, we are fortunate to get to try a lot of experimental malt that may and may not ever make it to final production. So your best options right now are to use Biscuit or even some James' Brown in substitution.
In the end, the Sierra Nevada Resilience IPA GF Clone recipes turned out a great beer! And Bierly Brewing raised $200 to the Camp Fire Relief Fund!!
